Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore, is a remarkable Hollywood actor and writer who's talents have brought an acclaim from critics as well as recognition. Sagittarius. Born in North Carolina, on 3rd December, 1960. She's the eldest of three siblings who were born in the home of Peter Moore Smith, a paratrooper, and Anne a psychologist. Moore began acting in plays during her time at Frankfurt American High School when her family relocated to Germany. In 1988, she played an actress on the show and received an Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, she made her debut in cinema in the form of Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. Short Cuts (1997) and 3 Women (1993), both Robert Altman productions, were her first films. The film was critically acclaimed and Moore won multiple nominations. Moore's debut lead role was on screen in Safe (1995). In 1997 the actress career was at a crossroads when Steven Spielberg cast her to star in Jurassic Park: The Lost World that became one of 1997's highest-grossing movies. She was awarded a SAG award nomination for Magnolia in 1999. In 2002, she co-starred with The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman as well as Meryl Streep. Moore also appeared in The Forgotten (2003), Freedomland (2005), Shelter (2010) and many others. Moore was a part of Non-Stop (2014). Moore has appeared in numerous television and film series.
